Tivoliz Vizslas got its start in the 1990's and has been active in multiple venues of the dog fancy since that time. My motto is, "A Vizsla isn't just a dog, its a way of life," which is so true of the breed. While I have had a great deal of success with conformation, I am most proud to be breeding dogs of good health, good lineage and great temperaments. I encourage new owners to get involved in breed activities and welcome questions. Occasionally I will breed a litter but I spend far more time in a referral capacity. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in finding a well-bred dog from a reputable breeder.
I am a member of the Vizsla Club of America and adhere to their Code of Ethics, which has the minimum requirements of OFA testing and DNA registration. More important, I do all other VCA recommended tests - CERF and Thyroid - which are reflected in my dogs' Canine Health Foundation CHIC certifications. And, I have recently added Penn Hip to my repertoire of health testing to have a more complete picture of my dogs' hip conformation. I want every breeding decision to be an informed one and believe the best path to avoiding possible health issues is to do so before a problem occurs. These tests help in that endeavor as well as thorough research on issues for which no known tests yet exist.
My dogs reside in my house, sleep in my bed and are loved beyond belief.
